STARTING WITH SKINCARE | BOTANICS

So for my first 'official' beauty post, I thought I had better start off with the foundations - if you may - of a great face of make-up.. SKINCARE!
I have (self declared) the oiliest skin on the planet which means a constant battle with finding the perfect products and I am most definitely always on the look out for my miracle.
I've been through mild acne, to hormonal spots and everything in between so I know when it comes to skin the struggle is REAL.
I've tried and tested products from DIOR to Clinique and Bioré to Body Shop. And pretty much throwing anything at my face that sais 'salicylic acid' in the ingredients.

So here's where I'm pinning my hopes at the moment..

BOTANICS

BOTANICS is a Boots brand that boasts natural ingredients and rave reviews from customers, give me 5 minutes in the review sections and I'm always sold!

Let me walk you through it..

100% Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz
First up is by far my absolute favourite and a definite re-purchase - the 100% Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz. I spray this on morning and night after washing my face and it's so hydrating and calming it has done me nothing but favours since I've been using it and I haven't had any major flare-ups so far - a winner in my eyes.

Radiant Youth Super Serum
My second love from this range is the Super Serum, just go and read the boots reviews and you'll have one in your basket! Definitely the most raved about product, it has a gorgeous smell to it, almost fruity and my skin seems to drink it up. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is 'scientifically proven to boost luminosity in just 2 weeks' it's lovely to apply and I've taken to using this instead of a moisturiser and my skin seems to like it. I love the smell so much it doesn't feel harsh at all and as for reducing wrinkles, I can't comment too much, fortunately I'm not quite there yet!

All Bright Cleansing Foam Wash
I've been using this every morning and night and it works really well to remove the last of my make-up, it foams up nicely and it's not drying - that being said it's not unlike many other face washes but it is great value for money.

All Bright Purifying Face Scrub
Another All Bright Botanics product, this face scrub claims to 'buff away impurities to brighten skin' this product hasn't wowed me, it hasn't caused me any skin trouble but I like a scrub that really does SCRUB! This almost feels like the particles disintegrate in water and for me it doesn't have that power that I love from a scrub.
*
So there you have it, my little Botanics rave, I have my eyes on the Shine Away Mattifying range next and I hold high hopes that it will do something fabulous in oil control!
Boots currently have offers on all Botanics products and I'd definitely recommend giving them a go and at such good prices it's guilt free shopping - right?!
Please leave  any of your recommendations down below..

A proud lipstick junkie and a lover of anything that makes my skin look runway ready, I hope you find something to enjoy from my little space on the web and I'm insanely exited to find some beauty treasures from you all along the way.
